Anderson Ranch Arts Center

One of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting... Woody.

While I spent most of my time in the Sculpture department, my friend Diane enrolled in the ceramics class.  I would stop by in the evenings and see what was happening.  I learned a lot about throwing clay and also had the chance to watch while the clay works were fired in the many kilns they have built at Anderson Ranch.  I also had the opportunity to see both world famous ceramicists Takashi and Peter Voulkos

Woody making his first box.

Clockwise: Susan, Woody, Me, Diane, Rick, Polusa and Jason.  Our last night at the Ranch we had some "toss your lunch punch".  Everyone was feeling a little drunk.

Susan the ceramicist, snowboard instructor, cyclist and a wonderful friend.

My new friend Elizabeth.  A ceramicist by trade but she found a new love for wood working by making some clay tools.

An evening hike in the hills above Aspen.  We happened upon a bear on the way back.  Yipe!

Awww... Mark and Kate's 5th wedding anniversary.
